OT: DVD player not playing back audio on foreign language films....
the dvds in question are fritz lang's M and fellini's 8 1/2. they are both netflix dvds so i think they are likely good as far as region is concerned. i've tried all of the settings on my player, none seem to change things (switching to ital audio and german audio). took out both, put in ronin and lawrence of arabia, both worked fine. player is amw v99, and website support is just as substancial as the 30 dollars i paid for it, no updates.... &c.. wanna send these back to netflix before my trial is up, but i still want to watch them. any suggestions?

they are netflix movies, shipped from daytona beach florida. i wasn't clear in explaining (as i edited) that the video and subtitles play, but the audio does not.
