    Default alarm/central locking problems

My car alarm inexplicably went off this afternoon whilst my car was sat outside the house. I switched the alarm off but from that point on the car doesn't respond at all to the key fob !!!

I have had the RAC guy around and he's checked the batteries in the key fob and they are working fine. The car's battery is also fine.

I have tried holding down the UNLOCK button and then pressing "LOCK" three time as I heard this might solve the problem but still nothing

    Any suggestions please ?

Did you check the fuse to the alarm? It is located under the rear seat and is attached at the end of a long lead wire coming off the alarm unit.
