    Default need a mechanic to reset my new (used) e34 trans in east bay? suggestions??

    please let me know a good bmw mechanic who know transmissions in the east bay (hayward, fremont, etc.) to reset and activate my newly installed automatic transmission....for a reasonable price.


    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    It should calibrate itself after being driven for sometime

    we installed another used m50 92 trans but i still get a trans program code please help. should i take it to a bmw specialist?

    please let me know.

    it shouldn't need to be "reset" if it is hooked up right, or not defective.

    I had similar problems and wasnt a happy bunny.If you swapped like for like, now is the time to check if you have any error codes. Could just be (as in my case) a speed sensor. But you just have to say I'm not going to let the bastard beat me

    any reasonable and affordable mechanics in the east bay to troubleshoot this for me?
    this new to me trans / install cost me a pretty penny.
