    I'd never heard of Ron Paul so I looked him up. It seems his claim to fame is having delivered 4000 babies. For some reason the UK media is trying to make this very exciting. But I thought the presedential elections didnt start until November. Are we starting a little early?

    These are "primary" elections, a convoluted process to choose delegates who then attend a convention for their respective political party where they imbibe heavily and cast their votes, ostensibly for the candidate they had previously pledged to.

    Ron Paul got media coverage? Most of the world seems to like him. From what I've seen around the internet (YouTube etc) there seems to be a huge supporting of him in the US. He's doing well in the polls. But little media coverage compared to the others. Shame really.
