Most likely a pulley/tensioner bearing on its way out. I've had a tensioner get quite noisy. I don't believe theres much chance of a fan clutch squealing as its a viscous coupling.

I sometimes have a squeal that comes from the fan belt area. Is it most likely the pullies/tensioners or fan clutch. It happens more when it is cold, so maybe it's the fan clutch before it tightens up? Anyone have either or both of these fail?

x1. Check if it squeals when you put on fan, heated screen, headlights etcOriginally Posted by Dave M
I'll bet your 525 is an M20 without belt tensioner and the belt is loose.
Let us know some details and we are better able to help.
