Electric Window Problem??

I have a 1994 325 and the drivers side window is a little messed up. Sometimes, about 50% of the time if the window is down or part way down, when you hit the switch to roll it up the window goes all the way up and then comes back down like 2 inches. Then I have to inch the window up by tapping the switch. Any help would be great.

I found some threads about similar problems. The problem might involve your "window regulator." Do some research on that... Hope that helps.
