    Default Adjusting Euro Smileys

Tihs past Christmas I got a set of Depo Euro Smileys that will be going in my new car. Oh wait, I didn't tell you guys about that . I bought a '95 540i Six Speed, Calypsorot on parchament on the 27th. Anyway, I'll have some pictures up later today or tomorrow.

Back to my original question about adjusting the smileys. Is the procedure any different than adjusting US spec lights? The reason I ask is due to my understanding of the way the euro lights project light. The other reason I ask is because on bmwe34.net the headlight adjustment page says "The adjustment is for north American lights".

    Thanks for your input,
    Patrick

    yes and no.
mark the cutoff line at headlight height, and the center of each one
you back up 25 ft and the cutoff should be about 2" below the line on the wall and still centered up. (edit: think it is actually supposed to be 3" @ 25 etc. but I'm lowered so I run a shallower dip, and I can play with my vertical adjustment while driving.)

    IIRC
if not here is the link.
