Thanks for that, many of the things on that e39 problem list seem to apply to the e34 as well. Who says they never learn?!!

A thought as well - the E39 has multi-link rear suspension as well as the front...
Remember doing the control arms on your E34? Twice as many to replace on an E39 if they start playing up!
