Default Part number required - I have two weeks free time at Xmas.

I want to replace the straps on my glovebox with the small 'shocks' I have seen at various sites including the following:

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Default I saw that but...

...there is no part number for the shock there.

Try these: 51161954684 or 51162236483. When realoem doesn't show the part number it means it wasn't an option on that particular BMW. I changed vehicles to an M5.

95 525i also has the glove box shock on left side, strap on right. Heard all passenger airbag cars have the glove box shock. Not known if true.
