'94 E34 M50 DME chip orientation help, please?

I am reinstalling my EAT chip into my '94 E34 M50 525iT.
Problem is that immediately after I removed the stock chip and laid it aside, I was interrupted and now cannot recall which way it was oriented. What will happen if I install the EAT chip backwards? Does SOMEONE have a photo of the correct orientation, please? Which direction does the little notch on the end of the chip face? Thanks very much before I screw this up!!

Look at the notch of the chip. It should match the notch in the chip socket on the circuit board.
