Kickdown Switch Repair?

Without the switch connected and working, you can't do the handy "stomp test" to get engine codes.

The kickdown switch has no connection to the DME. DME uses the WOT switch on the TPS to activate the 'stomp test'.

If you remove the kickdown switch (like for a manual trans swap), you should replace it with 35-41-1-159-345 so that the pedal has something to stop it at WOT instead of possibly damaging the throttle body and/or TPS by trying to force them beyond they're designed range of motion.
