with a little patience and luck, you can get it. It is a female flat-blade style push-on connector on the wire and a male on the switch. They can be kinda hard to unscrew the actual body of the switch from the floorboard if they have been there for years and exposed to any moisture.
As for those who can't find the wire, you may have to pull up some carpet to find it. Without the switch connected and working, you can't do the handy "stomp test" to get engine codes.
