I subscribe to a Shell maritime test.bi-monthly,and have an aero cutter to open oil filter.costs are about $25per and its why I still have a 290k car, every report indicates no significant wear-so far! also helps indicate oil polution in diesels and all sorts of other wear, the difficulty is in interpreting the results as they are purely scientific, cheap set up might not be give results that are easily read.
