Euro Rear Sunshade (Roller-Blind) Install...?

Hey folks,

Picked up a Rear Sunshade for my E28, which ended up not even being for an E28, but for a E34 or E32, rather. I jumped in the back of the 540i and it looks as if it'd fit.

My question is, has anybody ever chopped up their Non-Sunshade Rear Parcel Shelf and swapped in one of these screens before?
