I don't have a pic at the moment but i had trouble figuring it out at first... Assuming you've removed the 'carpety' (if there is such a word i'd be surprised) side panel you will see a bolt sticking out with a sort of butterfly nut on the end of it. If you close the jack fully and look at the curved end you will see a hole in it...Originally Posted by gmannino
You need to insert the thin end of the jack way back into the boot in such a way that the bolt with the butterfly nut on it can go through the hole in the bottom end of the jack. (The winding arm will be above the main arm of the jack...)
