Just remove them, reflectors off, fill with water with detergent, let dry, install again.
Reflectors: be careful!! I used cleaning alcohol with a cotton but.

I wonder what the effect would be if you just went ahead and rubbed off all the silver and painted the surface with a very bright white.

N/M! I tried removing all the reflective coating and it's like driving with no lights!

There is 3 screw holding the projector len assembly in the light assembly. you can get to the ellipsoid len after removing the screws. you can clean the len that way and make brighter output.

As I have just discovered on the ferry, cotton buds and alcohol works well,BUT, if you put the reflector back on the next screw holes round, left dip or right dip, saves on adaptors, easy. Nearly as easy as turning switch on E39`s, clever people at Dingolfing!

It is shown in the U.K. owners manual to adjust the headlights for LHD and RHD, very easy, just losen the 3 screws, turn the reflector in the slots, tighten screws, ready to drive in the rest of the part of Europe.
