^^ From what I can comprehend, a taxi-meter goes in the slot. It's for a e34 taxi ... I like this piece ... might have to start a taxi firm with the e34 just to use it.
I'll buy lunch, dinner and cocktails for the first guy to show up at next years Chicago meet with an E34 in yellow and black taxi livery.

it's very cool if you want an easy cutout to put in those guages bmw forgot - like oil pressure, voltage, etc...if it was the right colour, i would bid on it.
