pilot exalto's don't last that long as they're quite soft, try a continental
Have Bridgestone Potenza G009 coming off. These have been OK but not great. How about Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S for my 15" Basketweaves?

Yeahbut, yeahbut, I like tires that don't last long because they usually handle better than long wearing ones. And I enjoy the experience of getting new tires, even though my bank account doesn't enjoy it ;~P (Hand-crafted emoticon).
How long? I heard they last 40,000 miles or more.

mine lasted just about a year, and i only do 6000 miles a year, but luckily for me at that time i was working in a tyre centre so i got them at cost price, i soon replaced them with bridgestone pole position s03's
BFG Traction T/A's V rated.
Put those on a friends '95 525iT. Really nice tires, and they're around $90/each at Costco if I remember right in 225/60/15.
I'd say Pilot Sport A/S, as I love those on my car, but they don't make 'em in a 15". Traction T/A is next best (for all season) in my opinion.

It depends on what he wants out of a tire:
Cheap- Khumo Ecsta ASX $50 per tire and good value.
Great All Season Performance- The Continental Contiextreme Contact at $80 a tire.
Best Dry weather performance and good Rain- BFG Gforce Sport $90 per tire.
Overprice, ok handling, horrible treadwear tire- the Dunlop SP5000 $86 per tire.

I replaced them with Toyo Proxes S4's. They have been an excellent tire, quiet, durable, and impressive handling in all conditions. I also see a lot of SUV's around town with them, but in a lot bigger size. I'm running 17" rims, but the ride is good.
When I get new rubber, I'm getting them again. The are about $150 each mounted.

Why would you consider all season tires in Cali.? Do you guys even know what "seasons" are?Originally Posted by Warren N.CA
Buy some sticky directional tires and enjoy.
