Well, looks like I've found one... except I hate silver. WHY SILVER?

Now I need a parking space...

Anyone see anything wrong with it?

I'm sure its a beautiful car, but thats a lot of money (if you're like me and don't have it ).

Out of interest, what is maintainance like on something like that? Could a half decent DIY'er keep it running? I suppose if you've got the $cratch, it doesn't matter.

    If I had $30,000 to spend on bmws, I'd rather something I can wrench, maybe 10 e34s or 2 e34 M5s or 8 e28 euros or..........

If you're serious about all this, good luck with any purchases.

Dave, that's a good argument. I have long considered this, but more on the lines of owning a DB7 or DB9. The key is finding competent indys that won't rip you off in the first place... like Bimmersport. I'd be scared to service a DB9 with the current funds See, the problem is a limitation where I CANNOT get anything older than an e39. I could even get a decked out Accord, but that's just blasphemy!

I could definitley live with silver. I'd just have to get rid of those horrendous eyelids and RD pedals

carbon build up killed a lot of heads, a lot of engines were replaced under warranty as it was cheaper than fixing them.

Well. The M5 brings my insurance up $280 CAD a month. That's a bit even for 400hp. The TT Roadster ups it by about 8 bucks a month... but I don't have a viable network to get it tuned and fixed where needed. Pretty sure can't pull up to Bimmersport and get Charlie to help.

Looked at a 2008 Subaru WRX today, out the door is shy of $30k CAD. Great handling car... but the int/ext styling just isn't up to snuff.

So now, the TT is looking good... but the M5... mmmmmmmmm

The Beetle..errr Audi TT will depreciate very quickly. If you get any Audi lease it and dump it the MOMENT the warranty is done.
If you think the M5 jacks up your insurance mention the "boy racer" mobile to your agent.
    How about a 7?
