z8 vs z3 1.9 lever

I love my z3 1.9 lever in my e30, but the consol is alitte lower than the e34's, so having a little taller shift lever is nice.

The consol in the e34 is a little higher so a little shorter lever would be more comfortable IMO. I understand that the two shifters are about the same in throw distance, and I don't want anything as drastic at the Mz3 or z4 shifter lever hights (too stubby).
