Really noisy Aux water pump - any suggestions?

The electric water pump for the heater is really making a lot of noise. This is the second or third one (all used).

Any ideas on what makes these things make so much noise? Any fixes?

Can you just unplug the darn thing and still get heat?

get a new one? I got a used one with no problems in 2 years. Contact Denny, he has 2 parts cars in the classifieds.

Mines is pretty noisy too. If you unplug it, the heater won't work as well at idle. Most other cars that don't have aux pumps, raise the idle speed when heater is on.
