Not sure where you are but find an agricultural engineer, they replace boots regularly!
Been looking over the 540 and seen that the thrust arm ball joint rubbers are both perished and starting to split. The arms are only 6 months old and still good , so I'm looking to just replace the rubbers,so does anyone know what size the rubbers are at the base, top and hight of the rubber uncompressed.Anyone got a scrap arm lying about they could take a caliper to?
Cheers

Note: the above is just one of the 2 I bought.
Not sure what size your Thrust arm has.
So one of these diameters
33 x 15 mm
29 x 14 mm
Interesting info, but no one got a new or old 5 series arm on the bench they could take a caliper to ?
Cheers
