What can I do to get more power from my 89 520i. I would like some more power without breaking the bank too bad. Thanks

Yep I've got a 5 speed 2ltr M20 too (UK). Had it for nearly 5 years now - you get used to the lack of power. There are M20 engines that have had turbos fitted, but to be honest if you want more power sell your car and buy one with an M50 twin cam 2.5 ltr engine.

I'll have you guys know Evosport just built a M50B20 E46 race car with I believe 580 - 620 whp.

There's always nitrous or a supercharger kit. I don't know what your budget is, but these can be affordable if you want more power.
The bank can be rebuilt :0Originally Posted by Sam-Son
