[QUOTE=Sidney Rough-Diamond]Will be there the weekend of the 1st of Sep. Sat,Sun and Monday.
Brake mod really works but getting the pipes to the centre of the hub is tricky.Like to hear how you do,oh, just done a goemetry and corner weight check(bored!),coilovers are crucial if you want to get it right, unless you are lucky and know how to get 84lbs out of the front right!

What are you running on your car ? Mine still has the stock M-Tec stuff. The plan for next year is to have some decent suspension and sort the steering.

PS. Whats the deal with the 6R4 part of your sig ?

    Cheers

On my third combination to try and get sane ride height with shock control, got a load of too low springs if you want them! There`s another thread about a groan, mne eventually found to be steering relay gone dry, dropped it,greased and steering pin-sharp again.
    6R4 bit is a humble Metro-ish,0-60 5.9, on gravel.
Get a lucas 6RA relay, power off feed in fusebox, low feed off brake light switch(fitting hole for two on my car), cut feed to pump and feed off relay, you need a cut out to avoid water on cold rotors, no stop!

A genuine Group B rally car and my personal fave ? Now that's very cool. Time for an o/t post on that please ! The brake mods might have to wait now, I'm working all this week and leaving early Friday. Just been done the local by-pass to try and bed those pads in - the smell of hot brakes after only a couple of short but hard stops wasn't good. I'm hoping it's just because everything is new. I got a feeling those spare discs and pads might be pressed into action....

Dont tell too many about the adenau trick! Not many people know what a humble Metro is!! If I can work out how to do it, have in car on tyre testing,no lurid moments but the stop watch does not lie.Tried Ben Lovejoy`s site? Come to think of it, my definition of fear would be the Metro at the ring, bet thats never been done, got to be an Eight minute job given a corked ass! Good luck anyway.

Saw a vid on Youtube of a Pug 206 WRC at the Ring - on a public day I think it was too ! Somone should have a Group B day there - 037's, Quattro's, 6R4's, Delta S4's ..... Do you go to RallyDay at Coombe ? Ahhh, still think of watching Will Gollop back at Brands in his Silkolene car, damn that thing got of the line well!
Ben's site is awesome and was a real help for my first trip a few years back. Met him in the Pistenklause and said thanks - pretty modest guy he is too.
