    Default antrieb, how does the 4 litre feel with 5-speed?

    just curious. how is it holding up also? will i need to use a 530 flywheel or a 540 flywheel?

    Sorry about seeing this 2 weeks late...


    5-speed feels great and its holding up fine. Almost 10kmi so far on the swap.

    I used the stock 530i flywheel and bought a new stock 530i clutch.

    Whats your highway rpm in 5th? What LSD do you have?

    3.09 open diff. I'll check the rpm's tomorrow.

    If anyone's looking to do this, I have a 5-speed manual tranny + driveshaft + diff for sale that will bolt straight up to a 540.
