    Default Steering Wheel Removal

    Quick silly question...

Will anything bad happen if I disconnect the battery of my '90 750iL to remove and replace the worn out steering wheel? Aside from having to reset the clock, etc.

    Thanks,

you have to resynchronize the 2 throttling valves thru the EML. Procedure is on my website below.
Also note down radio code and code for anti theft devices if installed.
Disconnecting the battery: no need to remove the rear seat which is a pain in the a$$ on electric rear seats. In front of the rear passenger seat there is a plastic cap, remove this, remove the nut on the bolt underneath, then remove the next plastic cover and you see the bolt which holds the battery cable there.
