Default Parking Brake On warning keeps comin on

    Hi everyone,
My parking brake warning indicator continually comes on. If I jiggle the parking brake, or press it (the parking brake handle) it goes off most of the time. Is this a matter of simply adjusting the brake? I'm having trouble understanding where the sensor is. I have the Bently and the TIS CD.

I'm sure this is a simple fix and any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

On most cars the sensor is on the base of the brake handle or around there. If you can wiggle it and it goes off that would also point to it being there. If your brake is really high you may get away with adjusting it but you could always take the centre console off (not a big job) and see if you can see the sensor and run a few tests.
