BMW OE style 32 on e34-Issues?

I am considering putting BMW OE style 32 8Jx17 et-20 part number 36111092961 on my stock suspension, stock ride height e34. I also have recent front Boge struts and upper contol arms with 750i bushings. I understand 235x45x17 tires are a size correct match.

As these are e39 wheels I will need hubcentric rings. Plastic or metal and best source?

Will my ride change a lot from my stock 225x60x15 wheels?

Will I need new lug bolts?

Does anyone see any issues for these wheels. For example, will hubcentric rings solve vibration/balance issues? TIA

You will need hubcentric rings. Also, if your set is staggered, the rear tire size is 255/40/17 (big sucker).

Other than that, knock yourself out. I think they look awesome, but I'm biased.

I have them and I need 15mm spacers in the front and for looks I needed 20mm in the back just so the rear wheels don't look so pushed in. oh and by the way mine are 235 all around

Why do you need front spacers? Is it because your car is lowered?

Sam-Son, from the picture in your sig yours look like the 3 series offset., that would be why you would need spacers. If you get the 5 series offset , 20mm, you don't need them. Excellent choice, Style 32s are one of my favourite wheels.

I can't believe you can tell that from that crappy pic. Yes they are the 3 series offset it was all I could find for sale and I needed the spacers in the front because the wheels would rub the suspension. I did the lowering after I got the wheels

Got a set of style 32s the same size all around. I plan to use either Bridgestone or Michelin 235x45x17 tires. No other alterations at this time.

What is the best source for plastic rings. I understand I can get the metal ones from Tire Rack. Think I will get both.

I have both plastic and metal in stock.........$30.00 for both sets delivered. Lastly, I'd suggest a 235/45-17 front and 265/40-17 rear, but that's just my personal opinion....and yes, I like the Style 32s as well.

Thank you. Once the wheels are delivered, I may order both sets. However, I think, Iwill use the same size tires on all 4 wheels. I want to be able to rotate the tires for best mileage. This is a daily commuter car.

Any recomemndations for smooth riding, quiet, long lasting all season tires?

At the moment I am condsidering Bridgestone Serenity or Michelin Exalto A/S touring tires.

I too am partial to the Style 32's. Got the staggered set using 235/45/17 F & 255/40/17 R with Toyo Proxes 4. Got my rings from Tire Rack.
