quick question... hood fitment/body

does anyone know if it is possible to use a 525 hood and grill kit on a 1995 540. I am not sure with the V8 that it will fit... hence the newer style hood.. ANY insight would be helpful...

If i were you. I would not "downgrade" to the narrow hood/grille. I'm pretty sure that the narrow hood will fit a v8 E34. The v8 E34s were given a wide hood to show its V8ness and for an updated look to somewhat match the current styling of that time.

well, the 95 525 also had the wide hood and that wasn't a V8. Personally I prefer the narrow grille, but thats just me
