CAN"T OPEN A TRUNK - plz help

Hey guy my trunk is stuck it wont open in my 1988 735i any suggestions ?

If you have a skibag in the center in the rear, you can try to pull the cover from the rear with a long stick and hook and then pull the link rod

the thing is my trunk is fully loaded , can't reach nothing.
