Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(
And then...
It's worth about 9k if it's any good. But if its been messed up like many of the faux M cars, the value spirals down fast.Originally Posted by Nick.Hay

why spend the time putting on all the little m badges on when:
1: its not an m3
2: you dont even do it properly
and then try to sell it as an m sports and bump up the price by 7 thousand dollars.

It's the age old case of M-confusion, practiced ad-nauseum by dealers and wannabe dealers since the M division itself began... buyer beware the M-fused POs with too many Ms on their mind that they can no longer count the $. From now on I've decided to count out any car I might look at if it has an auto box. That makes a good start at counting out the worst of them.Originally Posted by adashio

BMW did sell 4 door auto versions of the e36 M3 - I hope that was a one time lapse. However, with the blurring of the lines between the old slush boxes and the newer units, the third pedal could be in jeopardy of extinction.Originally Posted by adashio

i sold my old e30 on their.....cars are either grossly undervalued or grossly over valued and you hardly ever get an enthusiast, its always some person slightly interested with no mechanical knowledge or bmw knowledge...that was my case anywayOriginally Posted by repenttokyo
