PIC-n-Vote: Pair of E34's beat an E38?

About a week and a half ago I posted that I was going to purchase an E38 (2001 740iL with Sport Package). So, what would you rather have ... two E34 tourings (525iT and 530iT) or one E38?

I'd rather have a E38 750iL and a E34 540i. But among those options, probably the 740.

If I kept all three I would never drive the E38. I would sit in my darn garage, waxed perfectly, with a high dollar car cover on it and almost never see the road. I need to have "only" two (one for me, one for the wife) so it "forces" me to use the car.

I guess I can see your point. What I would do is drive one on Monday and the other on Tuesday.

Personally, I would keep the 525iT because it is easier to work on then the M60. I find my 528i a lot easier to work on because there is more room in the engine bay. For the power though, the 530iT would be a keeper.

E38 740iL Sport is nice but "L" is too long. I rather have 740i Sport instead. And keep ONE of the E34!
