At current exchange rates, that's just £3255... I'd buy that!
There was one for sale here recently, metallic silver & '87, but very clean, for £5000 - wanted it, but can't afford it at the mo.. typical!
And yes - those bumpers look gash! E34 US bumper trims are cool, with the little lights in... E28 US bumpers definately not cool!

Sounds like a nice buy. Buddy of mine has an '87 (i believe) m5 and its been almost completely trouble free.

I would ask for higher-resolution pictures as well. They look like they were taken by a mobile phone.
