Have these Sideview Mirrors?
Anybody have these Mirrors? As they're local i could skip shipping. My passenger side Mirror looks like its leaked glue or some other gunk around the edges.

I thought i read you usually break the old ones they have some sort of snap on plastic clip or other and you just push/snap the new ones on,but then i read the Bentley..
section 510-2 changeing mirror glass.
Mirror glass , replacing
1. Insert screwdriver to engage tab on mirror glass locking
ring. Turn locking ring to unlock mirror glass. See
Fig.

2. Lift glass from mirror assembly and disconnect wiring
from heating element.

Mine just pulled off and the new one popped in. Lucky I didn't break it I guess.

they have that type of mirror on the e46 M's, the split is kinda cool as it widens your viewing angle...sometimes it can give you a headache though
