How do you stop window squeeks
When ever I slide the windows up or down the window squeeks on the rubber. Is there a way of stopping the squeeks? I also see this problem when it get really hot on the sunroof. Talcum powder perhaps?

How do you keep it off the glass? Do you not have to spray the seals that the windows runs up and down in?

Yes you are right - it does get on the glass on the opening windows and I have never noticed a problem with it. However I try not to get it on other areas unnecessarily. Like the windscreen for example - maybe the wipers would not work effectively on a surface made slick with silicone spray lube.

Use 303 protectant on the window seal!
This is the best stuff for rubber and vinyl and will make your seals last waaay longer...
Run the windows all the way down...get a rag and soak a small area with 303, fold and pinch it slightly then then rub it along on both sides of the seals. Use it on all your door seals, sunroof seal, trunk seal etc....your sun roof most likely needs some lubrication along the tracks.
All the seals on my 12 year old 525i are like factory new.....
