get the codes by doing a "stomp test" or using a peake tool... go from there
The connectors are different sizes and/or color coded so it's really difficult to mget them mixed up.
seems like its been forever, and it has. but the car runs as good as it ever did. i miss driving that thing. anyway the check engine light came on about 10 minutes after i started home.
any ideas? my idea is that the mechanic got the connectors got mixed up and the check engine light kicked on. Unless they just decided to fail.

cool, so what did you decide to do with your car?
Why don't you disconnect the DME to let it reset before doing anything.
the ****ing check engine light went off and everything has been fine since. low battery? who knows. i might have a buyer for it soon.
