    Default Shocks Survey for E34

This is a survey for E34 shocks. This will help everyone looking to upgrade or change their shocks in the future. So take a couple minutes to help yourself by helping others. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

*Include only shocks that you own since new.
*Each person should only post 1 time for each set of shocks and come back to edit if there's a change in experience.
*Only post to fill out the survey, do not discuss about other's posts since the purpose of the survey is to collect different opinions.
*PM me if you have any suggestions on how to improve the survey, keep this thread as clutter free as possible.
*If you are researching, please pm the owners of the shocks you are interested in directly.

    Thank you!

This kind of info tends to be a bit vague as most of us have not tested out various identical cars with various brand new shocks and springs at the same time. You'd have to have a bunch of indentical cars with different suspension setups on the same roads all driven one after the other in order to be able to properly gauge the difference in one setup to another. I filled in the survey myself but I don't really know what I'm comparing to so I'm really just guessing. I did some research prior to my purchase on the M5board where many members are avid Nurburgring drivers and have tried out various setups on their cars. The best combo I could gather was the Koni/H&R combo. It's not the cheapest mind you.
