The air intake sensor is the MAF (mass airflow sensor). It is located between the air cleaner housing and the throttle body which contains the throttle plate that moves when you push on the accelerator. It is an alloy housing with a black or dark coloured rectangular top on it with a round wiring connector plug on the side.
