just curious in case things dont work out. im still a poor kid and $2k is A LOT to me. My friend is askin $1500 for his E30 that im still itchin to buy.

or i can sell it as is without the tranny. but it would have to be towed.

You are selling the 540 with a bad transmission? Guess I don't understand your message other then you want to buy your friends car.

how much doies a 540i without tranny go for anyway? it has a lot of recent work done. just need to put in a tranny of your choice and it will be good. I was thinking around $4k.
