Default cold plugs or hot plugs, modified gap or stock gap...?

Been doing alot of research and found out Copper plugs are where its at. Iridium breaks, fouls, and only last long on an econo engine(just like platinum)

which brings me to my first question. The NGK most of us run is a BKR6E (single) the colder plug is the BKR7E (most FI guys get these to prevent detonation) So is there any benefit to having colder/hotter plugs?

My second question is, what gap is recomened? It seems like they have changed over the years .32, .29, .28 and now im seeing .25... So on a slightly modded 3.0v8 what would be best?
