I'll be there, though probably in my black '90 750iL. My '90 Black 525i manual is still in the bodyshop, waiting for them to correct some mistakes (if it's ready, I may bring it anyway. The blue 525iT is waiting for it's title but won't be registered until it's more driveable (rear end damage repaired).
Or I could bring the green '70 2002ti...

Bad news. I can't make it.
I was diagnosed with HSP about a month ago knowing that it would take a month to heal and rehab. I'm usually never sick so I thought it would pass a little quicker. However, it's hit me hard and I've been in bed (and the hospital) this whole past month.
I'm finally over the disease, but I'm far too weak to go and enjoy myself. I've held off cancelling my hotel and such for so long hoping I'd be fine by this weekend, but sadly I just don't have enough time to rehab. I'd rather not meet all my friends looking like a paper white stick with the strength of a fish.
So with a frown, I cancelled my hotel arrangements and headed to the forum.
I'll definitely miss meeting my new friends, and truly hope I'll get to meet you all next year. So none of you are allowed to sell, wreck, or stop driving your e34's til the next Chicago meet.
Sorry guys.

Sorry to hear this. I wasn't aware you were ill. What is HSP? Good that you are over it.

Do you win a prize for the most E34's?
A Bimmer Nut for sure: '04 530im (current daily driver), '97 m3, '98 323is, '99 Z3, '01 740iL, '06 330cicm zhp, '02 R1150R, '69 r60, Owner/Operator of www.Bimmer.info and www.BimmerNut.com
And I still maintain: '90 535im (sold to daughters best friend, one of my favorite bimmers), '92 525im (daughters other best friend now drives this one).
I'm bringing my neighbor who will hopefully roll out his 88 M6 that sees about 50 miles a year.
