George Mann put one in his 1990 e32 a couple years ago. He did an extensive write-up and it should be in the archives. I think he had to do a minor tweak to the pin/wiring pattern but the stock connector physically fits. Let me know if you can't find his post and I'll do some more digging for it.

UPDATE: May25th - I received a full pinout now and will be testing the custom harness for the DICE guys. I will be back from vacaction on Monday and Tuesday everything will ship out!

I had everything pinned correctly except I needed one more ground for the Dice unit itself. That is resolved, testing this weekend, and finished products go out as mentioned on Tuesday.

Thank you for your patience. There is no fee for this link for all of those who have already paid.

    COMPLETE!

Ok, so if you ordered a CD43... you should have received it by now.

If you ordered a CD43 and DICE... they wlll go out tomorrow along with the custom harness. I need to grab a few more 3M terminals to complete a few extra links, but once they are built that will be it. I am making about 15 of them. 1 issue is that you need to use 3 T-Tap connectors on the factory harness to power the DICE. All instructions will be included. Trust me when I say there is nothing to it.

I tested everything on both my E36 and the M5 and its really pretty cool. E36 Ipod mounting is right under the on board computer. I think I am going to either just wire the E34 to connect in the compartment to the right of the Ebrake. Should be very painless.

Thank you to all who have ordered and have been patient. You should all have your equipment within a week or so, including you too Paul!

Also, as a quick note to the guys with the early style connectors. BMW makes a completely plug and play harness to retrofit the newer style headunits! This is available in 2 versions, either the 2 or 4 channel apparantly, depending on what your car was delivered with. I am going to search for a few photos of the connectors (or someone here post up what you have) and post a price if someone wants these. I can offer them for %20 off BMW's price.

If anyone has any questions or comments post up!

this is a great choice as I was about to go get a Becker from UK and have to get a audio tech to rat splice the harness..
