Default power steering pulley went out...

Its been making an awful squeeling for the past couple of weeks, to go along with groaning from the power steering pump. My best guess is that a couple of the bearings have burned/locked up?

Well ive been looking for a replacement and cant seem to find any, can anyone post a link or let me know where to get one?

    Thanks,
    -Boone

i may have made a mistake, acording to realoem its my idler pulley

at least i think it is, its the pulley closest to the ground near the alternator intake boot.

I think that would be the power steering pully, the idlers are smaller. Also note that the idlers are 2 different sizes so make sure you order both so you dont need to reorder after you figure out that you have the wrong one (like I did) I ended up getting 2 small ones and replaced the AC idler. One was complete trash and all the rest were running dry, so it was a good call.

ok, did another check, it is most definantly the power steering pulley. It at first was just making a clicking noise, my idle went shaky, and loud groans from the power steering at low speeds.

Now its screaming/clanking like a banshee out of hell. Anyone have any input on replacing these? I wanna rip my ears off when im at a stoplight with this thing, embarrassing

my car gets the loud belt squeeling at cold start idle and thought it was the idlers, 1 was was trashed so that was it...not. Now I'm thinking it's the alternater but as you unsure...probably my PS pump also. How much are these things new anyways?

i don't know...$300ish? ive heard nothing but horror stories on changing these though.

I dont know WTF is going on, i have no alternator whine, cooling is tip-top and now im starting to hear my belt squeel on cold starts. At first it was just a mild clicking with the groan of the pump, now its making all sorts of noise...

A failing pump couldn't stretch a belt could it?

    EDIT:

Someone found these for me, not too bad for rmftd.

O realy? That would be simple as hell, i thought the source of the problem would be where the noise was coming from, wich was obviously the power steering pulley. Il check again and go with your idea first.
