SRS reset.. anyone figure out how to reset the SRS?

Dealer only, even a Peake SRS reset tool does not work on your car.

That is why I have already imported into Japan about 100 sets of a reset tools from Germany which works on E30, E34, E32 and some other BMW models from built date 1987 - 2003.

The SIR3 digital reset device functions with all BMW vehicles with a
round 20-pole BMW service socket up to year of construction 2003.
Not supported are models with reset via CAN-BUS I

Most well equipped independents can reset it.

BMW's Modic II, III and GT1 obviously do it. Most indys have at least one of those tools.

Diagnos's Autologic does it, and a lot of indys have or are getting this unit.

Baum Tool makes a lot of equipment that will reset it, too.

Not sure about the snapon stuff, but I would be surprised if a Modis or one of the earlier systems couldn't reset it.
