Default Quick Help - Bentley's - spec on valve guide height?

My head's at the machine shop... The first shop I went to had their valve guy, "Hans" of 20 years experience, decide to leave so I had to find another shop.

New place does a ton of work but didn't have the spec for how high the valve guide sits above the head.

Does anyone know the spec or have a Bentley's handy to look? Mine's at home and I'd like to get the number to the guy today if possible.

    Many thanks!

Bentley says BMW procedure is to ream guides for OS valves. Specs given in Bentley are for wear and ID only

    Thanks Ross.

Hmm.... I might just have to measure the "dirty" part on the old ones (they're pressed out already) and duplicate the install depth...
