did you mean the gearshift knob?changing it from the stock "T" shift knob to the newer "circle"shift knob found in the newer e36,e38,e39??

yea, basicly it is a complete transformation, round style knob and leather shift boot.

hmmm....I saw that surround plastic thing that came from the e38 and I liked it do you know what that thing is called exactly...so I could ask the boys in the yard or the stealer on how much that'll cost?it's kinda hard to explain that over the phone if I just told them "that surround plastic thingy"
