Reverse light switch

I need to replace the reverse light switch. Will the oil leak from transmission while doing the replacement? Is there any gasket between the switch and the manual transmission?

...there is no gasket, just screw out and screw in. Be careful, the space is tight and make sure that your exhaust is not hot! That is why I know the space is tight. There will be no leakage of fluid during this repair. You have to be standing under a lift to do this easily.

I did it with the front of the car elevated on ramps on a slight slope so the car was level.

Piece of cake - took 5 minutes max with a 19 mm ring spanner.
