Offset of stock wheels

1989 535 with stock 15" basketweave wheels.

I read that the offset of these is approx +20 mm and the rim measures 7". Does this sound about right?
I'm thinking of getting 16" wheels and want the correct size. Need to know the max offset for a 535i.

I have 7.5'' 16'' with offset 30, they rub with 225x55 tyres and no spacers. 10mm spacer is needed.

ET15's look real nice. Stuff's the wheel out just a bit.

I have E31 16" turbines. Nice. ET15s.
