    Default who beats 500 k miles

    Just read on the German forum that in a small village in Bavaria there is an E32 730i as taxi with 800 k km which is 500 k miles.
    So don't worry how long an E32/E34 lasts.
    Have asked if someone lives near there and can make some pics of the car.

    There's gotta be a few E34's out there with similar mileage. Especially with all the E34 taxis and govt vehicles in Europe.

    a couple years ago we had a e32 740il come in for a little work that had 427k miles, bastard was clean too, looked better then some 100k cars i've seen
    all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it

    How many rads, waterpumps and control arm bushings has it been through?!?!?!

    I remember seeing a Canadian member with high kilometers... 400k maybe... I forget who... (I know it doesn't compare!)

    There's a guy who has a crappy, small used-car dealer near me.

    He drives a '93 525iA with 350k miles! Bought it 4 years ago with 90k. It's in terrible shape now.

    I also park next to a '90 525iA with 255k. Cirrusblau/Black, attractive car. Too bad he doesn't really care about it.

    I have 307,000 miles on my 1990 525i M20, and it runs excellent! Gotta love German engineering!

    Default 1990 535i with 348,000 miles

    ... previously owned by a guy who lived in San Diego and commuted to downtown LA 6 days a week. Boy, do I need a paint job.
    90 535i / 5MT / Blk w/Gry Int : 330K+ on E34, 100K+ on 2nd M30

    I'd guess mine in the 330k mile range(89 535i). don't really know for sure.
    it displays 306000 exactly and hasn't counted any higher for a good six months. its in decent shape i suppose. it needs new tires and could use some control arm bushings. but body wise she is pretty much perfect. one rust spot about 1 inch in diameter. and the engine still runs GREAT, transmission hasn't left me yet. and it has never been rebuilt. i bought it with 250 on it. and put the first 66k on in about 5 mos.

    i'm a canadian member, but mine "only" has 358 000 km.
