Wow, thats. That looks pretty new, but you never know. How much did those babies cost brand new anyways?

Germans: Why can't they make everything?
*Passes out* I was thinking today if anybody had some E34 they never drove, how cool would that be....
Low and behold...
Jeez, speaking of paranormal.

I'm suprised that it's a left hand drive. It must have been a special order, especially with those wheels. 48k CAD landed is about 20k GBP. There seem to be a few (immaculate) E34 M5's pushing 17k GBP around but not many and they have a good few miles on them. The interior shot of that one looks pretty new and unused.
I wonder what the story behind it is? It was never going to be rare enough to warrant a speculative investment and this one was made well after the crash of "classic" car speculations of the late '80's.
Reminds me of the Jaguar XJ220. A lot of them were moth-balled when new as an investment, they are now worth a lot less than the the 60-70k milers as they cost a fortune to make useable. I recently heard a story of someone winding miles on to their 220 in order to sell it. Who knows (I don't know anyone with a Japanese import that had a documented history) maybe the mileage on this one is genuine?

According to the ad Panda, the car was garaged in a BMW dealership in Japan and forgotten about until now.
Many cars in Japan are imported as LHD, even though Japan is a RHD country, because LHD "prestige" cars are seen as more classy/valuable/etc.
I didn't know about the LHD prestige thing but it makes sense.Originally Posted by LunatiC

How do you "forget" that you might have an M5 around somewhere?
Tommy: We've lost Gorgeous George.
Brick Top: Shhh. You're going to have to repeat that.

Brick Top: Well, where'd you lose him? He ain't a set of ****ing car keys, is he? And it ain't as if he's incon-****ing-spicuous now, is it?
Either a rollback or every other hose is rotted.
I'd still buy it.
